Bridal Test for Bestie!

Hey guys! So my best friend is getting married & she's asked me to do her makeup ..so we scheduled a tester day where I tried two different looks and she got to see what she liked :) SOOOOO here are a few pictures of the tester makeup!!

I went with an all neutral look consisting of beige, cream, & brown.

& then to spice it up a little bit but also keeping it feminine I added in a light pink rose color onto the neutral.

Doesn't she look beautiful!?

I'm actually going to film her makeup routine on the day of her wedding so look out for that :)!!

REUSE! :)

JEANS

Tired of old jeans? Use these methods to transform & reuse them!!

1. Cut your jeans and make them into a denim skirt or shorts. For jean cut-offs, I recommend cutting them a little longer at first to make sure you don’t make your shorts too short. I also think it’s cute to leave the hem of the short a little longer and to roll up the bottoms a little for a complete look.

2. If you want to keep them as jeans, visit a craft store, see what kind of clothing paints, jewels, studs, and accents you can use to spruce up your old jeans. Use a razor & a coarse rock to rub some texture into the jeans. Rip a few holes into them, or cut a few holes into them & have fun!

3. Cut out the back pockets and use them as a phone case, ipod case, or even just a compact case.

MEN'S CLOTHING

Boyfriend blazers!

Take a look in your Boyfriend's or Flavor of the month's closet! Look for these key things!

1. His T-shirts! They are the most comfortable things known to man! Plus they give you that comfy, casual, thrown together kind of look. You can dress it up with a blazer and some boots or you can dress it down with a scarf and jeans. Play around add in chunky accessories for night or wear cut off jean shorts with them for daytime outings. Maybe even pick up one of his cardigans and use the same accessories to dress it up or bring it back down to comfy and casual.

2. His watch! I love big chunky watches as long as it's my sole accessory. I love the way they look so masculine on a feminine wrist. Trust me it's definitely a new look and is actually an upcoming trend!

PLAIN T'S

Different spins on a plain T-shirt!!
1. Wear them loose & leave the option for dressing it up or dressing it down depending on your activities. Look for cool small details maybe a small front pocket, a deep V neckline, a U neckline, colored stitching. Play around with them!
2. A cropped T, try a looser cropped t-shirt with some colorful shorts or some jeans. Crop tops used to be a hugeeeee trend and lately it's made it's way back as they all do eventually.
3. Cut outs, try cutting off the sleeves to a t-shirt, or cutting in shapes into a tank top or cutting slits into a loose shirt so you can wear a tank or Cami underneath it!
4. Acid washed, try adding random spatter of bleach to a few tanks, look into clothing paint and go crazy on a tank or T. Use your creative side and see what damage you can do :)

Smoky Shadow Blast!

So a friend of mine told me she was contemplating buying the Smoke Shadow Blast Eye makeup & I had already mentioned it in my first video. I tried it out today & I've attached pictures! :)

I said my biggest concern was that because it's more like liquid makeup than powdered makeup I was worried that the makeup color would travel into my crease line (where you're eyelid ends & your brow bone starts) even with a primer (helps makeup stay & settle nicely on your skin) & a powder coat. Sadly after a few hours it did and boy did it all clump together. I'm really sad that such an awesomely colored combination failed at staying put. I didn't even go outside or expose the makeup to the outside weather & it still disappointed. If you guys still want a tutorial on this definitely email me & also let me know if you don't. I know i'm not the only one who hates when makeup doesn't stay put!

On the plus side it was easy to apply, easy to smudge. To blend the shadows I tried using a brush but the brush actually just wiped the color right off my eye SOOOO you're going to have to be Q-tip savy or finger savy & try using your finders to blend.

Well here are the pictures, hope this helps guys :)!
